- If I am a licensed hunter from another state, and I obtain a DLH permit, am I still required to hunt with a host-hunter?
YES. The rules of the DLH weekend apply to anyone who carries a DLH permit. Your host-hunter can be a paid guide, relative or acquaintance. Your host hunter must be a currently (Louisiana) licensed hunter.
- I am a resident, Senior hunter who turned 60 before June 1, 2000 - when the Resident Senior Hunt/Fish license became a requirement. I do not have to carry a license when hunting. Can I be a host hunter?

To participate in this special hunting weekend, you are required to obtain Hunter Education certification before you apply for a DLH permit.

When taking antlerless deer on private lands enrolled in the Deer Management Assistance Program (DMAP) or Landowner Antlerless Deer Tag Program (LADT), all hunters are required to have an antlerless deer tag in their possession in order to harvest antlerless deer. The DMAP or LADT tag may be obtained from the cooperator for the enrolled land.

- Will I need deer tags when hunting during DLH weekend as a DLH-permitted hunter?
